March 23, 2009 - Morgantown, W.Va. - Longview Power, LLC, owner of the 695 MW (net) coal-fired power station under construction in Maidsville, W.VA., today announced the donation of $8,000 to the Southeast Greene School District in Greene County, Pennsylvania.

The donation was presented to Patrick R. Sweeney, Business Manager of the Southeast Greene School District which covers both Dunkard and Monongahela Townships.

The funds will be used toward education enhancements such as computer systems for the students and environmental education programs as well as a new basketball scoreboard for the high school.

"As part of our ongoing commitment to our surrounding communities, we are excited to contribute to the enhancement of the School District," said Charlie Huguenard, Vice President and General Manager of Longview Power. "We plan on maintaining a long working relationship with the Southeast Greene Schools."

Longview will be a 695 MW (net) single-unit supercritical pulverized coal-fired minemouth generating facility located in Maidsville, West Virginia near the Monongahela River, approximately 70 miles south of Pittsburgh. P.A. with several infrastructure facilities in Greene County. The facility, now 62% complete and scheduled to begin operations in early 2011, will be one of the cleanest coal-fired power plants in the United States. The project is owned by Longview Power, LLC, which is in turn owned by GenPower Holdings, L.P. ("GenPower Holdings").
